For years we've been almost exclusively specifying HPL slatwall with metal inserts just to insure that the wood core of the standard panel is well supported. We have finally been able to develop a steel slatwall that is stronger than any standard wood product. They are priced competitively and with colors and finishes which include a galvanized, swirled and brushed look that can only be obtained with a metal finish. Available trims make the installation easier than with standard slatwall. If your display requirements include heavy duty merchandising take a close look at our steel slatwall.
This is a system of vertical hanger strips and profiles (slats) that interlock to form an uninterrupted wall of metal slatwall. There are no visible fasteners or horizontal seams. The product is extremely durable and strong compared with traditional MDF slatwall. Visually striking metal finishes are available as well as solid colors. All finishes provide the esthetic benefit of the grooves and flat surface having the same finish. By eliminating the horizontal striping effect produced by traditional slatwall, Steel slatwall provides a clean, elegant look that is suitable with a wide range of interior design concepts.
The Strength of Steel
Say goodbye to typical slatwall failure. No more of the chipping, cracking or delamination found in other slatwalls. With strengths up to 100% stronger than even MDF board with metal inserts, steel slatwall is simply the strongest slatwall available. As you can see, our steel slatwall can support a 180 pound person on one of our heavy duty shelves with no bending, breaking or damage. Strength plus beauty - a remarkable combination.
Easy to Assemble
This is one of the simplest and easiest slatwalls to install. Provided with every order are a series of hanger strips, which are mounted to each stud along with the display wall. The slats then simply slide into the grooves on the hanger strips (just like vinyl siding). And that's it; it's that easy!
