Hello, and welcome to another issue of the TRIO Display newsletter! Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and with it comes one of the busiest shopping days of the year: Black Friday. Known to many as simply “the day after Thanksgiving,” Black Friday heralds the beginning of the holiday shopping season and is usually the biggest day of the year for many retailers. In recent years, the retailing power of the internet has led to “Cyber Monday,” Black Friday’s ecommerce counterpart. The industry’s recognition of this yearly milestone underscores the surge of online buying activity over the last couple of years and highlights how important it is for brick-and-mortar shop owners to consider expansion into Web-based retailing.

This month’s feature article explores this jump into cyberspace and details the benefits of “going virtual” with the establishment of an online presence. Other features this month include a closer look at our design team’s work with Friendswood Music and More, a revolutionary center for the advancement of budding Mozarts and Hendrixes, as well as the usual spotlight of the latest and greatest additions to TRIO’s online store fixture catalog. Until next time, take care and happy retailing!

Best Regards,

Adam Jones – Editor

Trio Design Project : Hitting a High Note
by Eric Fairbanks

Could the next Stevie Ray Vaughn even now be matriculating through Sarah Hames’ immersive Kindermusik program? The innovative program is an inclusive series of classes that nurtures the budding musician from the cradle all the way to age seven without repeating a lesson. Children learn to express their creativity through music—by age five, he or she will be composing. Ms. Hames’ curriculum became so popular that she soon grew out of her existing space.
